Dozens of people came out and took part in the official Grand Opening of Oakville’s newest physiotherapy centre, Dorval Physiotherapy and Wellness, on Saturday, January 25, 2014.
Despite cold, snowy weather in the morning, patrons of Ali Maleki and Libor Divilek, founders of the centre and experts in the fields of physiotherapy, massage therapy and acupuncture, attended the event and enjoyed food, music and good conversation.
“I have waited for this moment for years,” said Maleki. “This is a dream come true to open a business in a wonderful town like Oakville and practice what I love doing.”
Maleki and Divilek have a combined thirty years of experience in the industry, and provided free therapy consultations with patrons throughout the morning and afternoon.
“I want to thank everyone for coming out today,” said Divilek. “I’m glad you could share in this very special moment with us, our friends and family.”
Also in attendance was Pam Damoff, town councilor for Ward 2. “I want to thank Ali Maleki and Libor Divilek for opening a new enterprise in Ward 2, right in the heart of Oakville,” she said.
Dorval Physiotherapy and Wellness is conveniently located at 250 Wyecroft Road in Oakville, just off Dorval Drive and south of the QEW.
Local media, including SNAPD Oakville and the Oakville Beaver, were there to take pictures and speak with the new owners.
After a ribbon cutting ceremony with Councilor Damoff, Maleki and Divilek popped open a champagne bottle to celebrate with patrons, some of whom they have known for well over a decade.
“We know that Dorval Physio is different than other physiotherapy centres in Oakville,” said Maleki. “Our patrons always come first, because they always deserve the best.”
